I can’t imagine how great you must feel. “I’m so happy to see my work getting out there!” doesn’t do the accomplishment justice. Not only published in Time, but on the cover. Nice job. Bask in the glow.

Great pic but from the tone of your post you seem to have been the last one to know. Hope you got appropriate compensation for a national mag “cover” shot. It must feel really primal, Holy Shit good. CONGRATS!

Chad… a question… did you shoot that as a horizontal or did you have the foresight to realize cover potential and shoot vertical?

I did think the image would make a good spread when I shot it but i wasn’t thinking of it as a cover. It was shot as a horizontal, (raw file) see it here: http://www.chadhuntphotography.com/07/pages/afg_1.htmlI love the crop for the cover because you can see the detail of the bunker.

Chad, congratulations..it brings great happiness to me when i see fellow LS’ers as you say “getting their work out there” Just saw your work on Afghanistan and some images are truly wonderful. The juxtaposition of some of the images works really well. The cover was well deserved Chad. Best of luck with future projects and Happy Clicking!
