3500 Euro grant for production of short film about Jerusalem

“Ir-Amim” an Israeli NGO is setting up the “Moments of Jerusalem” International short films competition.

“The competition’s goal is to arouse dialogue on the topic of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Jerusalem and the future of the city and create a visual archive on this sensitive issue. Ir Amim aims to utilize this opportunity to insert a critical and creative element into the public discourse on the subject. We believe that the visual arts are an excellent medium for conveying complicated messages to a large audience.”

Winners will be displayed as part of the Jerusalem International film festival in July 2008.
