HRICK

As a youngster, H. Rick  was levitated by master illusionist Jack Gwynne during a stage show in

Chicago . H. Rick  received his first camera at the age of 10 and began photographing convention shows for The International Brotherhood of Magicians two years later. In high school, his first published picture was in his hometown paper that he oversaw as photo editor for 16 years.He recently joined the staff of the Northwest News Group as Deputy Photo Editor.

As photographer for the International Brotherhood of Magicians, H. Rick  began a personal project in 1971 documenting the organization’s history, for The Linking Ring Magazine, official journal of the I.B.M., photographing the world’s leading magicians and compiling one of the largest photographic collections of performing magicians in the world.
