Dongling around

OK-I’m a daft old git. I upgraded to OSX 10.6 snow leopard and now I need a dongle thingy to connect to the internet as my mobile is crap and no longer works properly on 3G.

Anybody in the UK using OSX 10.6 successfully with a dongle and if so on what network. Ideas of cost would be good too-Pay as you go? I tend to be a big user of Maccy D wifi free hotspots which work nicely just on the MacBook with airport. Yep, EVEN with Snow Leopard!!
