Takaaki Iwabu

Takaaki Iwabu has worked in the United States as a photojournalist for the past 12 years. A native of Yokohama, Japan, he moved to the U.S. in 1991. He has worked for The Niagara Gazette in Niagara Fall, N.Y., and The State in Columbia, S.C., before he joined the staff of The News & Observer in Raleigh, N.C., in 2004.
