About

First of, I suck at writing these profiles. They always come off sounding too damn self serving, and I always come off sound smug and more arrogant than I really am.

I am a professionally educated photographer (for whatever the hell that’s worth!), specializing in photojournalism, but not limited to just the news. I also do travel photography both domestic and international, as well as maritime, transportation. (rail, mass transit, and aviation.) Would like to do more architectural landscaping and art.

But for the most part, I am a press/photojournalist with most of my background being newspaper work, though I have done street as well. It’s pretty well rounded as far as my past goes, but maritime and railroad has been what I shoot off the clock when not doing and press/photojournalism.

I also enjoy service (military, law enforcement, fire/rescue) photography as well. I would like to do more portraiture, model and nude work though someday. I have an abstract sense of imagery similar to the style of Helmet Newton. Other influences are Tim Page and Henry Cartier-Benson. Ok, I admit it, I like Helmet Newton too.

At the current time in my photography career, I am currently doing photography for the US Coast Guard as a photographer for the National Photo Corps and Department “A” Public Affairs.

Places I’ve shot at include, the USA, Canada, the UK, Iceland, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Ireland with plans to do more world travel as time, and money permit.

Biggest Card For Fuji S2 Pro

I’m picking up a used Fuji S2 Pro from a photog friend of mine. I shoot huge files. I’ve spent a ton of time searching the web for this, with little luck.

I’ve looked all over Lexar and San Disk but can’t seem to find what I need.

It appears the larges I can tell from San Disk is a 2gb card. However FujiFilm looks like it’s only 1gb. Yet this may not be the most recent information seeing how the manual only states micro drives and smart-media as the primary media for this camera.

Any help would be appreciated.
