Acommodation in Gaza

I’m leaving Jerusalem en route to Gaza this afternoon – the only Hotel i could find so far is $ 80 per night. Any ideas about cheaper options?

There really aren’t any. 75$ is about the cheapest you are going to get. You should also be careful about hidden charges (dial up phone bills, etc). The Deira is now empty (all the Europeans left today because of the threats) so you might be able to negotiate something, and the $10 unlimited highspeed internet might make it worth it. Otherwise dial up can be a very slow $20 an hour.

I’m leaving the country tomorrow, but send me a message tonight if you need anything (fixer, etc).

I am at the Deira now in fact. Going to have to find something cheaper if I stay here much longer tho! I sort of found a fixer unless you but thanks for the offer.
