Adam Bray is a writer, photographer and journalist based in Ho Chi Minh City. He has contributed to upcoming guidebooks for both Cambodia and Vietnam. His websites have been recommended by Lonely Planet, the Washington Post and the Atlanta Journal & Constitution. Adam is fluent in Vietnamese and maintains close ties with both the music and tourism industries in Southeast Asia. Adam has worked as a fixer, location scout, translator and production assistant, and participated in documentaries for NHK (Japan) and CBS (USA).
Adam also specializes in online marketing and has completed projects for numerous Fortune 100 companies, including Microsoft, Disney, Dow Jones Market Watch, Visa and American Airlines.
Previously Adam worked in the field of primatology with chimpanzees, bonobos, orangutans and a variety of monkeys. Some of his most famous wards have been featured in National Geographic, the New York Times and various international news sources—most notably “Kanzi” the bonobo, formerly at the Language Research Center of Georgia State University.
Adam is available for contract work in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, China (especially Yunnan and Sichuan Province) and New Zealand.
