I have been living and studying in Jerusalem off and on since 2000. I hold undergraduate degrees in both journalism and political science from Indiana University with a concentration in print and photojournalism, as well as Middle Eastern politics. From 2002-05 I earned a masters degree in Islamic and Middle East Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. While a student I did some freelance photo work with The Boston Globe.
In mid-June, 2007 I returned to Jerusalem in order to pursue a photo career full-time. Currently I am working as a freelance photographer with The Times of London, the Christian Science Monitor, The Globe and Mail, and The Australian.
I am now based in Cairo, Egypt.
