Advice on printing a Dummy book please.
I need to print a high quality ‘dummy’ book to present to a publisher. Can anyone recommend a printer who can make one to my exact specification ie physical dimensions and page count? I will be grateful for any advice.

There’s a company near Old Street in London who construct and supply all manner of mock-ups to the creative/advertising industries. I’ve used them recently to make up Pantone rub-down transfer sheets from supplied artwork. If they can’t actually mock the book up themselves they’re definitely friendly enough to point you in the right direction. Be warned, they’re pricey.
Their details are:
Main Titles 32-37 Cowper Street, EC2A 4AP Tel. 020 7250 1066

Thanks for those suggestions. Anyone else got any ideas? The more options the better. Cheers.

Jason, don’t use a dummy for a dummy book. Fastback has office in nyc and one in berkeley (ehere – live) they did one for me, one for teru, jessica demmick, colin finlay etc. Camile at fastback knows what she’s doing and is a photog herself. I would be happy to work with her to insure that your specs are met and that all the pages look good. Of course I get a free copy when the book is published. I’m back in the us now Ekh
