Aftermath Project grant winners

jim goldberg, san francisco, CA won the $20,000 grant and Wolf Bowig, Hannover, Germany, won the $15,000 grant. . . their photos and the press release will be posted on theaftermathproject.org website by early next week. we also named 3 finalists, andrew stanbridge, boston, MA; asim rafiqui, stockholm, sweden; and paula luttringer, breville, france.

all 5 will be in the book we’re doing with aperture/mets and schilt (amsterdam), which will be launched at perpignan in september.

many many thanks to all of you who took the considerable time it required to apply. it was amazing to see all the work. we hope you’ll apply again next year (look for a call for applications to come out probably in the summer of ‘07).
