I was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan. After moving to the United States, I attended The Indiana University of Pennsylvania . After graduating with BA in Marketing, I moved to Washington D.C where I currently work for a Fortune 500 Commercial Real Estate company as Marketing Coordinator and the Editor-in-Chief of the company’s regional internal magazine.
I am active in several organizations. I am a board member and the Chief Marketing Officer for Campushopper, Inc. In addition, I am a committee member of the Capital Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Throughout the years, I have worked on several photography and video projects. Current projects include documentaries and interviews. My projects focus on a wide array of topics including, but not limited to: international affairs, education, women’s rights, politics and animal rights. I am fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi.
I recently finished a documentary showcasing the lives of Pakistani citizens impacted by the current terrorism and politics affecting the nation. (See website for clips)
