I’m likely to be going to Uganda in the New Year to photograph a new organic farm start up. It’s on a small Island on Lake Victoria. I know things are very safe on this Island, but I was wondering about Entebbe and Kampala. UK government tavel info rates parts of Uganda as No Go zones and Kampala not somewhere to go out at night on one’s own. I wondered what other’s on the ground experiences were.
I was thinking about doing some documentary work as I’m in the area and wasn’t sure how much unwelcome attention, bulky/expensive camera kit would engender.
