Born in 1983. In 1999 entered the photo studio Siluet at the Youth Creative Palace where had studied during 4 years under the direction of pedagogue and photographer German Pavlov.
Graduated from the journalism faculty of the Saint-Petersburg State University in 2005. The same year started to work in the photo agency Interpress.
As Interpress photographer worked for AFP covering news and sports events.
In 2006, won the Silver Helmet Award for coverage of the work of rescuers of EMERCOM.
In 2007 became a prize winner of Open Independent Contest for Professional Photojournalism Russian Press Photo. Won 1st prize of Sport photography contest Open Sports World in 2008.
