About

I want to shoot the heavy duty real world events that are going on around the world around us, the kind of things I see my heros here on lightstalkers do. I want to create the kind of work that really says something about what is going on in the world and where we are heading. I want to make a statement about how these conflicts resonate in the daily lives of even the people not living in those countries and who think they are not directly involved in them or touched by them, as I strongly dislike war and believe that we as human beings need to come to some realizations about ourselves so that we can change as we so desperately need to. One day I will grow up and win a Pulitzer.

For right now though, the editorial I shoot is mostly based on my local surroundings in Southern California. I do get out and about as often as I can, but it is usually only for my travel photography work.

I love to hear stories from people who are more experienced than me and any advice you have to give will be welcome. And in exchange if anyone needs help with their Farsi, please contact me.

Novice Needs Help with How Much to Charge ASAP!!!

I just got home from being the first on the scene at a two alarm fire in Imperial Beach. Various news agencies want the images, but they just say, “Yes, please, send them over” How do I ask for money for the images in a professional manner?
