SB 900 Flash?

I’m looking into a new flash (my camera is a Nikon d700) and the Nikon SB 900 seems like it has the TTL capability I need and it recycles really quickly. However it is about one million dollars (well, $450) and bulky. I’m a photojournalist so I need something light, and I also shoot weddings so I need power and fast recycling. I’m not totally sold on the SB 600 either because it doesn’t recycle as quickly.

Any thoughts?
