A.M. Ahad born in 1989, he working with AP (Associate Press) as a photojournalist based in Bangladesh. After graduating in Media Studies and Journalism at Stamford University, Bangladesh, Ahad started his early career with The Daily Sun and then The Shokaler Khobor. He has also worked for the news photo agency DrikNEWS. In 2010 he won a prize in the IUCN’s Biodiversity in Focus environmental photography competition and Eco Foundation Student Photojournalism Award as a merit winner in 2012. He has participated in photo workshops and training in Bangladesh, and recently participated in the sixth Angkor workshop in Cambodia, and the first Master Class organized by Stream Photo Asia. He is currently pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Photojournalism under the scholarship program of World Press Photo at Asian Center for Journalism (ACFJ) at Ateneo De Manila University, Philippines.
