Ambroise Tezenas was born in Paris in 1972. After graduating from the Applied Arts School of Vevey in Switzerland, he moved to London where he became a regular contributor for magazines. He moved back to Paris in 2000 working for advertising campaigns and magazines. He has an ongoing personal landscapes project which has included monitoring the changing landscape of Beijing, China. His work has appeared in publications like Geo, Liberation, VSD, Time magazine, Der Spiegel,The Times, WAD, The Independent magazine, The New York Times.
In 2006 he received the Leica European Publishers Award for Photography 2006.
