French of Algerian origin, English/French/Arabic TRILINGUAL PHOTOGRAPHER, freelanced as photographer for Associated Press, Gamma, Webistan, Femme Actuelle and other French dailies for 5 years then worked as photo editor for Reuters internationl pictures desk in London, then as photo editor and photographer at Reuters Paris office, also helped managing and editing at Reuters Baghdad office in 2005.Left Reuters and after a period of freelancing Iam now back to news editing with EPA in Frankfurt.
Interested in documentary photography and news work, shot pix in Algeria, Nepal, India, Thailand, France,Poland.

Hi there,
Iam currently in Kathmandu, where as many might not know the political situation is rather moving away from the much praised June elections, instead a multitude of ethnic and social groups are on one strike after the other.
The 8 parties coalition which is currently in charge of Nepal, might call for the raise of the Federal Republic of Nepal, and thus get rid of the king for real ( he was discharged from his main powers after April last year riots).
Today a general strike took place in the capital city, adding to the blocage of the west east highway, and putting to a halt any import export or even simple public transportation, and of course closing down most of the shops.
If anyone needs illustrations on the whole matter it will be possible for me and my partner andre to file them.
