Ana Mosquera was born in Caracas/Venezuela where she worked as a freelancer for a Daily Newspaper, while taking a degree on Architecture. On 2002, following her pasion for photography, she drop out of Architecture and came to the UK to study at The Kent Institute of Art and Design where she graduated with honours on 2005.
She is deeply interested on issues related to popular culture and its relationship to women in society. She was shortlisted for the Iam Parry Scolardship sponsored by The Sunday Times Magazine and her work has been exhibited by the Cadid Arts Trust Gallery .
She currently works in London as freelancer for Landmark Media, but is constantly travelling back and forward to Venezuela.
