I live on a 37’ sailboat named ‘Kajaya’ together with my partner Alfredo De Lara, an award-winning photojournalist and documentary filmaker.
‘Kajaya’ is currently located on the Atlantic Coast of Guatemala.
Throughout 2014 we will be cruising the Western Caribbean, in search of compelling and untold stories: Stories that shed light on the current state of our oceans and the communities that are being affected most by the many environmental, socio-economic and political issues, which are directly or indirectly related to the Sea.
We are available – throughout the year – as a mobile self-contained production unit, handling anything from still photography (news, feature, underwater, HD timelapse, lifestyle, etc.), documentary filmaking, EPK releases, breaking news, NGO packages and even basic maritime scientific research.
We are able to handle every aspect of production; pre-production, planning, budgeting, logistics, voice-over, editing, etc. aboard our ‘mobile, floating office.’
We are well versed in ‘the art of island hoping’ in order to get to any international location and will fly, if necessary.
