I was born in 1967, in Vizela, a small Portuguese town. With a passion for travel I followed a 3 years course in tourism and worked in several travel agencies for about 10 years. But, while I was selling packages to summer resorts what I really liked was to travel independently to places like Borneo, Mexico, Morocco, Iceland, Ireland and Finland.
Until 1998, when I joined my husband Antonio Sa, already a freelance photojournalist, devoting myself exclusively to writing about the landscapes, peoples and events we visited together.
The amazing landscapes of Iceland, the kindness of the Mongolian nomads, the excitement of Moroccan souks, the atmosphere in Irish pubs and the simple life in the islands of the Portuguese archipelago of Azores are just a small part of the articles I wrote to several Portuguese and Spanish magazines
Now I am a mother of two kids who are starting to enjoy the incredible experiences we live while traveling around the world.
