Through my photography I want to present the viewer with a new perspective.
By creating images that are simple, yet refined, my intention is to take people by surprise, and challenge the viewer to see something in a new way.
“There is nothing easy about the process. Anyone can hold a camera and take a snap shot. The photos that are going to invigorate the viewer aren’t those photos that are driven by the need for a paycheck, current fads, or the restraint of a deadline. They are the photographs that require some heavy-lifting— researching and familarizing oneself with the subject matter, or person, and gaining trust. Through these photographs a connection is made with the viewer on a personal level.”
