I was born in Bucarest, Rumania in March 1963. I’m an indipendent photographer from 1987 and based in Rome, Italy. I work regularly for the Agence France-Presse from 2001, and WPN World Picture News from 2005, and my work has also appeared frequently in publications as New York Time, Le Monde, El Pais, Liberation, International Herald Tribune, Time (Cover), Newsweek, USA Today, Der Spiegel, Die Zailt and other magazines and newspapers worldwide.
