LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph has restructured its educational program to include professional and skill building courses with industry experts, as well as portfolio reviews and editing sessions leading up to the 3-day Festival. A Festival pass is included. Full scholarships are available thanks to generous support from Canon U.S.A. and Leica Camera! Scholarship application deadline is April 15.

Get ideas for sustaining your project through fundraising and sponsorship with Creative Consultant, Author, and Educator Mary Virginia Swanson.
Master audio and interviewing techniques with Independent Radio Journalist Alex Chadwick and Syracuse University Associate Professor Bruce Strong.
Delve into bookmaking with Aperture Foundation Senior Editor Denise Wolff.
Craft your process and sort through your influences with Photographer Todd Hido.
Fine-tune professional dealings with magazines, design firms and galleries with Doyle Partners Creative Manager Staci MacKenzie, The New Yorker Associate Photo Editor Jessie Wender, and Sasha Wolf Gallery Owner/Director Sasha Wolf.

Portfolio Reviews and Editing Sessions | June 13
After two days of learning, students will choose either three 20-minute portfolio review sessions or one 1-hour editing session with editors from The Washington Post, National Geographic, and more.

Finally, the LOOK3 Festival is the perfect way to end this week of intense creative and professional development.

Cost
Education Week is open to all ages and levels of experience, and registration is open now. The cost for tuition (including the Festival Pass) is $795. Travel and accommodations are not included, but a low-cost housing option is available through the University of Virginia dorms.
