The third annual Angkor Photography Festival was held in Siem Reap, Cambodia, with twelve days of photographic events and celebrations from November 17th to 28th, 2007.
The festival brought together well-known and passionate photographers from across the world in a spirit of creativity and generosity. It showcased 20 exhibitions and more than 120 outdoor projections about Asia.
The Angkor Festival differentiates itself from similar events with its educational and outreach programs. Some visiting photographers shared their experience by leading free workshops for emerging young Asian photographers, or gave their time to outreach projects for street children and women living with HIV. The programs proved that photography can change lives.
