Animesh Ray

Born and raised in India, he studied in Calcutta, New Delhi and Melbourne, a research fellow in Eugene (Oregon) and MIT (Cambridge), taught in Rochester (New York), San Diego and Los Angeles. He started photography at age 11, doing it seriously while an undergraduate, but after a gap of some 20 years he is doing street photography again. He sometimes goes out with friends taking photos on short projects.
