Our incredible city, Bangkok, has recently been voted the best in the world by readers of Travel + Leisure magazine and we couldn’t agree more!

To all our FANS on Facebook and Followers on Twitter, we welcome you to submit an original photo of what makes Bangkok so special – it could be a view, a building, an attraction or a person. We want to know why you love Bangkok in pictures.

Prizes

First Prize – 1 night for 2 persons in a Deluxe River View room including breakfast by the river and buffet lunch at Sala Rim Naam restaurant (value THB 25,000)

Second Prize – A voucher for a cooking lesson at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok Thai Cooking School for 2 persons (value THB 8,000)

Third Prize – A voucher for High Tea at L’Espace at Siam Paragon for 2 persons (value THB 1,000)

How to enter

Send your original photo along with a description (20+ words) and your full name to mobkk-socialmedia@mohg.com. You can enter up to three photographs to the competition.

Photos should be minimum one point five megabyte (1.5 Mb) in size and must be submitted no later than 5 pm (Bangkok time), 16 September, 2011.

Our favourite photographs will be posted on our Facebook page and fans are encouraged to show support for their favourite photos by “liking” each image. The photos with the most ‘likes’ will be judged by our Management Team to decide the winners.

Winners will be announced on Facebook and notified via email on Wednesday, 21 September, 2011. Please read the complete Terms & Conditions below.

Terms and Conditions

■Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
■Participants must not be employed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, any hotel within the group, or employed by our corporate vendors or partners.
■Three entries per participant allowed.
■By submitting a photo to the contest, you give Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok your consent to post your photo and name on Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok’s Facebook page and also to use your photo in future material. No copyrighted images may be used as an entry.
■Each participant is eligible to win only one prize.
■Photos must be submitted no later than 5 pm (Bangkok Time) on September 16, 2011 to mobkk-socialmedia@mohg.com
