About

Antonio Zazueta Olmos was born in the bordertown of Mexicali, Mexico in 1963. His early life was dominated by the US-Mexican border in which his family crossed back and forth between the two countries until eventually settling in Fresno California when Antonio was a teenager. Antonio studied photojournalism at CSU-Fresno where he worked on both its college papers, The Daily Collegian and Insight, as both photographer and picture editor. Before leaving he also did internships at The Los Angeles Times, The Fresno Bee, The Kansas City Star and The Miami Herald where he eventually stayed on as a staff photographer for three years.

After the Miami Herald, Antonio based himself in Mexico City covering Central America and the Caribbean and has been freelancing ever since. Antonio moved to London in 1993 and has been regular contributing photographer to the Observer newspaper and his work is published widely in many newspapers, magazines and weekend supplements all over the world. In 2001 Antonio was awarded a 1st place World Press Award in the people in the news category, singles, for his work of the Intifada in Palestine. His work has taken him all over the Americas, Europe and Africa.

120 Film Processing In Jerusalem

Hey everybody, going to Israel in a couple of weeks. I wanna buy film and process it there to avoid all the hassles of hand searches, x rays, film fogging etc….Is Panorama doing medium format processing still, any other places that might be recommended…

I am all burned out with digital ( still love it ) but i miss shooting film of my mamiyas and want to sweat like the old days wondering if i exposed it right fumbling with changing the rolls after 12 shots….

I wonder if my mamiyas still work…..???
