Tell Us A Story: Work from the APA|NY 2008 Juried Photo Contest
Show opening party & Fundraiser: Tuesday March 18th 2008 – 6:00-10:00 PM
Show dates: Monday March 17th – Saturday March 22nd
Please join Advertising Photographers of America, NY chapter, for an evening of spectacular photography and a fabulous silent auction. We will be presenting the winning and selected work from Tell Us A Story, our 2008 juried photography contest. This is a show that you will not want to miss, especially since all of the prints will be for sale.
Print sales and silent auction proceeds will benefit Exposures, a cross-cultural exchange program that establishes photography and the arts as a common language among youth from diverse communities. Each year youth from Vermont, New York City, the Navajo Tribe in Arizona, and the Oglala Lakota Tribe in South Dakota spend several weeks together participating in the cultural life of a host community, while learning to use photography as a tool to bridge cultural boundaries. APA|NY is a supporting partner of Exposures and we invite you to join us in support for this valuable program.
Come for the wine, stay for the work, bid at the auction, and have fun whilst supporting a great cause!
