NYC Assistant Needed. Saturday Sept 6th.

My good friend, photographer Nelson Hancock is in need of an assistant for a cool little wedding on Saturday. I have been working with Nelson with for years, and I cannot say enough great things about him as a photographer.

“I need an assistant to help with a very small wedding. It should be a fun wedding – Brooklyn brownstone backyard, two men getting married, one is a commercial photographer, I’ll be shooting Polaroid 665 and medium format film with some digital. The assistant’s main task will be to run a photobooth setup shooting portraits against a seamless using a Mamiya RZ67, so some familiarity with medium format film cameras is a must. You must be professional and well-mannered, dress like a pro, friendly and not prone to grandiosity. If it goes well, this could lead to more work as I shoot a lot of weddings. This is a good opportunity for someone seeking wedding experience.”
