Award for the Best Investigative Reporting on Corruption in Latin America and the Caribbean

The news media institute, Instituto Prensa y Sociedad, and Transparency International in Latin America and the Caribbean offer this prize with the support of the Open Society Institute. The objective is to acknowledge investigative reports in Latin American print, radio, television and online media that have contributed to investigation of public issues and uncovering corruption in the region.

Applicants can submit investigative reports that were published or broadcast in the previous year on a corruption case. The winner will receive US$25,000 and two runners-up will receive US$5,000.
