Born in 1983, in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
Introduced to camera at an early age, he photographed the immediate aftermath of 7,4 magnitude earthquake hitting northwestern Turkey where he was also a survivor in 1999.
Following a series of failures of his documentary projects and dropping out university, he started as a reporter for Turkey’s independent national daily BirGun in 2004.
Following years, he worked at the press offices of some international institutions and started covering international news, first as a writer and then both as a writer and a photographer.
His work includes reportage, travel, portrait, editorial and creative photography.
