The Washington Times is looking for a Junior Assistant Photo Editor/Multimedia Producer. The applicant should have a working knowledge of multimedia production as they will be required to help with post-production of both video and audio slideshows as well as posting them to the web. Other duties include toning images for the paper as well as photo tech responsibilities. The applicant should have a strong desire to be an EDITOR, and not be a frustrated shooter, as this is a desk position that supports the other two photo editors. The ideal candidate would be local, within the D.C. metropolitan area, as the paper does not pay relocation expenses. Please note that this is a JUNIOR position, so it is really ideal for recent college grads and not people with years of experience. Interested candidates may email Deputy Director of Photography Kristin Donaldson at kdonaldson@washingtontimes.com.
