Beatrice De Blasi

I am the officer for Education for Development and Communication at Mandacaru a not-for-profit organization which is actively involved in Fair Trade in the Province of Trento (Italy) and member of CTM-Altromercato (member of IFAT).

Since 2009 I am artistic director of Tutti nello stesso piatto, a food film festival based in Trento.

I report and document fair trade issues with photographic exhibitions, videos and events for the general public and for schools.

In the past I was the Director of Un Ponte Per, an Italian NGO working on emergency relief in Iraq, and the President of Servizio Civile Internazionale, the italian branch of Service Civil International.

I have also worked for other NGOs and in particular, some time ago when I was young, I have been Secretary General of SCI-Italy and member of the Bureau of the European Youth Forum, now called European Youth Forum Jeunesse.
