RETURN TO SOUL.
In light of the consequences of Katrina that left New Orleans families dispersed around the US and many of their homes damaged or destroyed, New Olean’s victims need hope right in our backyard. There are currently hundreds of families living in New York including 40 families that I’ve had contact with through a hotel in Brooklyn.

What can we do to show support as New Yorkers that care?
On Thursday November 10, 2005, I invite each of you to come together and show our spirit, love and support through our art and personal connections. @ Uncle Mings* 225 Avenue B 2nd Fl 7pm-until

Donations are greatly appreciated (clothing, supplies, gifts ex. make up, perfume, cologne, books- things that make people feel good!) or $7 donation at door. Through the efforts of all our community, we can make a difference and provide relief for these families whose lives have been turned upside down.
