bhutan- travel advice please

im travelling to bhutan- to thimpu and then the south- in feb. anyone currently there? or has been recently? how strong are the govt. restrictions? any leads for fixers, a good place to stay, etc would be appreciated.

Hi,

the last thing i have heard is that the visa is of about $130 a day. I hope you have a good budget is so. Read a book about it, is your work cultural or what? If so, the most unxplored areas are in the east of the country but you might need somebody to accompany you i guess.

All the best for your trip, i would love to visit there too one day.
