Blackberry curve as bluetooth modem for Mac

Has anyone successfully connected the Blackberry Curve to a Mac running OS 10.5, via bluetooth? I can’t even connect this thing to my laptop, let alone figure out how to use it as a modem.

When I first purchased my Blackberry the software supplied was already outdated. I was told too either download a patch from their website or get the new software sent to me. Before you even connect it to your mac check the supplied software is up to date as it crashed my PC. If you have the up to date software setting up Bluetooth is easy enough. Go to manage connections and set up the Bluetooth via the device. You need to pair a device to the blackberry and set it up first though. Have a play around with it, i figured it out after a while.

ok there should be a bluetooth icon at the top of the screen on your mac. pair your blackberry through that and it should ask you if you would like to use it as a modem.
