Blake Dallan Makar is a 19 year old TV host/photographer/event promoter based out of El Paso, Texas. He was born in Los Angeles, California on May 27, 1988 and moved to El Paso, Texas in 1995. He began his career in high school, where he was the lead photographer, graphics designer, and co editor for 3 years. He helped lead the newspaper and yearbook to an All Columbia Gold rating 2 years in a row, the most prestigious award a student publication can receive. He finished his last year home schooled in Burbank, California where he accepted an internship offer from Hollywood Records/Buena Vista Films, a Disney company. Blake worked as a publicist/promoter for recording artists, the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, and Aly and AJ. He is also co-starring in Disney Channel’s Original Movie, Camp Rock, which will air nationally in June 2008. Blake just ended promoting a 3 month sold out tour with mega stars, the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus. He is about to launch a new entertainment TV show to air in West Texas. The show, titled, EP411tv will highlight all major events in El Paso, Southern New Mexico, CD Juarez, Mexico, and West Texas. EP411tv, the only show of its kind, ever, in the state of Texas has gained much attention, especially from major advertising agency’s like, at&t, apple, pepsi, and ford motors. The show is expected to air Summer 2008. Currently, Blake is in El Paso promoting the show. His first major promotion will be on February 11, when close friends, the Jonas Brothers will perform at the Abraham Chavez Theater in downtown El Paso.
