My goal is to broaden the imaginations of the viewers of my work in order to convey a sense that the world as we see it is mystical, exciting and elusive. On the other hand I would like to convey the importance of the immediate human moments that call viewers to action. I hold true that educating the public creates tolerance as opposed to apathy.
I recently won 2 awards in the Kentucky Press Association awards of 2005-2006, second place for best photostory and another award for best feature photo.
I recently returned from beautiful Barcelona on assignment for the United Nations. Some photos from that assignment can be seen below.
The JB Speed art museum in Louisville will be displaying some of my work in an exhibition of protest photography March to June.
