Brenda Tharp is a professional photographer, educator and writer with over 20 years experience. She has done assignment work for a variety of US publications, including Audubon, Forbes, Michelin Travel Pubs, Navigator, Northwest Traveler, Travel Holiday and Sunset. She contributed to Presidio Gateways (Chronicle), was the sole photographer for Muir Woods: Redwood Refuge and Marin Headlands: Portals of Time, and wrote and photographed the book Creative Nature and Outdoor Photography (Amphoto Books). Brenda is represented by Photo Researchers, Jupiter Images and Corbis. A teacher and speaker, she conducts seminars and workshops in the US and abroad, and leads international photo tours.
