Photojournalist (since ’89) and designer/creative director (since ’91) with published work in a wide range of publications from The New York Times to Rolling Stone Magazine. also done documentary photo/video assignments for clients including the U.S. Department of Agriculture, The Peace Corps (on staff 5 years), and Icelandair; and more recently DV documentary filmmaking for various independent productions (incl. “Frontrunner-Afghanistan”, “Burn To Shine”, “Pancake Mountain”) and for major music artists (incl. Thievery Corporation, Devendra Banhart, Brazilian Girls, Manu Chao). speacializing in humanitarian/post-conflict and live music.

Directed and DPed my first feature DV documentary film, DISARM (disarmfilm.com), an award winning film about the global landmine problem shot in more than a dozen countries (in production 2 years, completed in 2005).

Also the founder and creative director of Toolbox Design, an award winning full service creative agency based in Washington DC (toolboxdc.com).
