Bridget O'Brien Killed in Car Accident

Has anyone worked with Bridget O’Brien recently? I used to be her editor and lost touch since her move to Australia. I’ve just learned that she was killed in a car accident Thursday, 10/18, traveling through Ohio. Please, please contact me 917-539-3591 if you have any recent photos of her. Our old newspaper, Newsday in New York, would like to run a nice obit of her. She was only 26 and so talented and a joy to work with. Thanks everyone.

Jane,
I was so happy to find your post. We have had a difficult time getting hold of any of Bridget’s friends from New York. As of now we haven’t determined anything for services, but we do have an obit running in the Sacramento Bee. In addition some her close friends from her college newspaper have put together a wonderful website of photos and memories of Bridget.
