Based from London, United Kingdom. I am a freelance photographer specializing in editorial and documentary photography. I graduated from London College of Communication, having studied under ex-Magnum photographer Paul Lowe.

My personal work reflects my strong interest in modern India, the social, economic and lifestyle changes that are being experienced by in excess of 400 million people. I travel to India frequently, both on personal and assignment work. In 2007, my reportage was published in Asian Geographic and Spectrum (Scotland on Sunday) magazine.

I have won numerous awards; the most recent is the Joan Wakelin Bursary from the Royal Photographic Society and The Guardian newspaper. With this award I will be returning to India later in the year to create a new body of work, which will be published in The Guardian.

In 2006 I was awarded the Winston Churchill Fellowship award, and in 2005 a place at the “Focus on Monferrato” residency under the unerring eye of National Geographic Photographer Bob Sacha.

In the UK editorial market I contribute regularly work to the Saturday Telegraph Magazine, the New York Times, Monocle. My corporate clients have included the haut-luxury brand Cartier and Poland’s oldest beer factory Brackie.

In 2006 I was short-lived by the Magenta Foundation as an honorary mention for rising UK photographer.
