Bruno Stevens exhibition opening in Brussels
Hi All, My retrospective exhibition “L’Histoire au Present” (History in the Present Tense) will open on March 13 (from 6PM) at the ‘Botanique’ in Brussels, spanning my almost 10 years career as a photojournalist through several hundreds of pictures. Wars, natural disasters, social and health issues, but also conflicts aftermath. And a couple of surprises. In a separate room, I will show a selection of my recent Iran work. Looking forward to see many friends at the opening and after. The show will be be visible Tuesdays to Sundays, 12AM to 8PM through May 4, 2008. Botanique, Rue Royale 236, 1210 Brussels. Bruno.

Thank you very much…we are running seriously late for the installation! Well, Bob, I know the original post was behaving really weird (not upgrading etc); so I reposted my original announcement (but I did reply to your post over the weekend, though…) Anyway, all LS and others more than welcome to the opening and beyond!

Awesome exhibition Bruno! All looks wonderful! I like image #18 with the little girl touching one of your photographs!
|
shows look great and the exhibition space is indeed awesome :))...i love the idea, also, of having “guest photographers” in your exhibition: builds context and shows that photographers our work is a consistent dialogue with others :))...great idea…
i also love the little girl fingering the picture :)))
well done and congrats again…
cheers bob
p.s. brussels doesnt look half bad ;))))

Bob, Brussels is great! Good food, Belgian chocolate and hundreds of artisan made beers… It is also one of the cheapest capital cities in the Western world, although it is changing fast… B.

I spend this sunny Sunday afternoon looking at pain, death, suppression, famine, war, hatred, disaster, ...(and a bikini-girl looking at a solar eclipse). Thanks Mr Stevens: depressing, but a great exhibition.
