buying/processing film in India

Hi all,
Can anyone advise me where I can buy professional film in Mumbai or Bangalore? Is the price comparable to buying it off the net? And where is a good lab in those cities, or is it best to post home for development?

I was in Bangalore last Novembr and bought good quality film and had some rolls processed, which came out fine, not great, but good. I believe it was called Prabhu Studios on Brigade Rd, near MG Rd in a pretty popular shopping area. You have to enter through the alley, its upstairs.

Hi Jackie,

You can try PHOTOKINA – Fulchand Niwas, 543 / D, S.V. P. Road, Chowpatty, Mumbai 400 007. Ph. No. (91-22) 2361 1290 / 2369 4680 / 2368 3289, email : photokinadigital@yahoo.com.

They are the best in Mumbai for developing and printing. They are a bit more expensive but if you want the quality, they are the way to go.
