About

Born in Germany and having lived in the U.S., Carsten Bockermann is now based near Bonn, Germany. Since the early 1990s he has specialized on photographing everyday life in different cultures around the world using a combination of direct reportage and visually interpretative style. Instead of ‘cataloguing’ a place Carsten focuses on finding the symbols that reveal its atmosphere and spirit.

Recent exhibitions in Germany about Cuba and Mexico. Upcoming exhibition on India in Jan. ´08.

PhotoShelter with fotoQuote integration

I just discovered that PhotoShelter has finally released their integration with fotoQuote. Setting up a rights-managed profile with fotoQuote is very straightforward, as is the price lookup. I sure hope they get the message out to the photo buyers, for whom it should also make things a lot easier.
