Call for Submissions:
For our first projection of 2008 we will be giving you 3 themes to choose from: Beauty, Fable or Desire.
So, edit/choose your work, create new work, do what you need to do – and come up with something special to be shown on this first projection of the year.
We’re excited to see what you come up with!
We have also invited all the way from Sevilla, Spain “Ciclope Mecanico” a collective of photographers that will be showing a selection of their works. In exchange a selection of Studio304 slideshows will be shown at their space in Sevilla. We will inform each artist when the selection is made.
The slideshow is open to all visual arts! Photography, paintings, drawings, multimedia, video, etc. – all is welcome as long as it is short (under 5 minutes) and in a digital format we can project from our laptop to the big screen. If you are interested in presenting work, please email Mara Catalan at info@studio304.org. Please get in touch with Mara soon if you wish to show work.

Submission Date:
We’re asking that work be submitted on CD/DVD by tuesday FEBRUARY 19TH so that we have time to put together the evening’s presentation. If you are going to be away for president’s week please let us know so you can deliver the work on the following tuesday february 26.

Guidelines:
For videos and multimedia:
-less than 5 minutes
-burned to a dvd or cd
-able to play on standard software
-no internet required
For still images:
-image should be JPEGs with pixel dimensions of 1024×768 (be it horizontal or vertical, under Image Size in Photoshop just make sure the longest side of the image is 1024 pixels)
-filenames should contain numerical sequence and artist’s name (01Catalan.jpg, 02Catalan.jpg)
-25 images or less (but if you have a special idea, this is negotiable)
Mailing/Dropoff:
Please mail or drop off your CD/DVD to Studio 304. The address is:

You may drop your CD/DVD off at Studio 304 during business hours. Just go to the above address and ring buzzer number 17. This is the building office, and you can drop your CD/DVD there from 9am-5pm.
