Call for Submissions

Open Call for Projected Exhibitions
Fovea’s volunteer photo editors Kelly Kingman and Amrita Singh are now taking submissions for photo essays for 2009’s Projection Series. Projection events take place both indoors and outdoors and are free to the public. Fovea is a non-profit dedicated to promoting public understanding of the world through photojournalism, and is 100% volunteer staffed.

June 13th “Man vs Nature”(submission deadline 5/10)
July 11th “Water”(submission deadline 6/15)
September 12th “Family Values” (submission deadline 8/10)
December 12th “Faith” (submission deadline 11/10)

Open submission for photographers,please email submissions@foveaeditions.org for FTP information or with any questions about format.

Submit a ZIP FILE of 20-40 digital photographs, RGB colorspaced, @300 dpi, Pixel size max 1024 × 768, JPG compression level at 8 ; Name the files first with your intitals and sequence (for example, KK01.jpg, KK02.jpg, KK03.jpg

Embed in each file info: your name, contact, and caption information including photo credit requirements.

Are we supposed to send the complete submissions to the above email address or just a request for FTP information?

Please send work attached to the email or email(s) as a zip file if possible.

If that is not possible, we can accept submissions via FTP or you can share a Box.net folder with us. Please email us for the FTP information as we didn’t want to just post it on a public message.
