Candice Reyes is a freelance photographer based in Manila, Philippines.
Her works have been published in major daily newspapers such as the Manila Bulletin and Philippine Daily Inquirer, international news websites, and have been shown in several exhibitions.
After finishing Philippine Studies minor in Film & Audio-Visual Communication at the University of the Philippines, she studied Photojournalism at the Asian Center for Journalism in 2009. She was also a selected fellow in the Angkor Photography Festival workshops held in Siem Reap, Cambodia in 2008 and won Best News Photograph at the 33rd Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) in 2011.
At present, Candice focuses on prison life, human rights, reproductive health, and environmental issues in her region.
She’s open for assignments, collaborations and creative projects.
